About Ty

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

I love sharing powerful truths of God’s Word in practical ways to
encourage people to enjoy Jesus’ grace and to extend His glory.  I
was a pastor in Hilo before moving to Oahu to further my education in
ministry.  In December 2013, I completed a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Ministry at Pacific Rim Christian University and am grateful to call Journey Church Hawaii my home church.  I am currently employed as a Parole Officer for the Hawaii Paroling Authority’s (HPA), Sex Offender Unit.   I have just released my book More than a Conqueror: 5 Pathways to Personal Revival to help encourage spiritual growth in those seeking to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

The Lord has blessed me with the opportunity to have served as a teaching pastor for Xtreme (a young adult ministry) and as a speaker for New Hope Oahu’s Growing Deep, Growing Strong conferences.  In addition, I have served as a guest preacher at the Hilo Church of God, New Hope Pearl Community, Newtown Church of God Youth Rally’s, and have taught Discipleship and Bible Basics classes at New Hope Christian Fellowship in Hilo.

  1. Hello Ty!
Thanks for sharing my article with other Pastors! I will be in Kona in a couple of weeks enjoying the Big Island!

    1. Kona is a beautiful place. Make a stop by Hapuna Beach Park for us if you get the chance… one of the best beaches on planet Earth. Where are you coming from?

      Be blessed,
